I’m back with Episode 7 in my Craft Fair 2019 Series bringing you another way to add a holder to your paper pads. In this project, I use a 5×8 note pad which you can find at most office supply or department stores. I purchase mine in bulk to save money and to keep the costs down.
Here are the dimensions of the paper you will need:
Early Espresso card stock cut 8 1/2 x 10 3/4 scored on the long way at 5 1/4 and 5 1/2.
Use your corner rounder to round all four corners. Folder at the score lines and use your bone folder and make a nice crease.
Use the pretty paper that you have. I used Animal Exposition Designer Series Paper cut 5 x 8 1/4. Round the corners on the right side only. This piece is added to the front of the notebook.
You will also need another piece of your pretty paper cut 2 x 5 and then scored at 7/8″ and 1 1/8″. Use your bone folder to make a nice crease. Add tear and tape to the back side and then add to the top of your note book to add a nice topper to the note pad.
Add tear and tape to the back side of your note book (top, middle, and bottom) and then add to your holder.
Cut another piece of Early Espresso cut 2 x 5 and add to the front of your notebook holder.
Add your coordinating paper (Animal Exposition) to the Early Espresso and then add to the center of your notebook holder.
Using the Layering Circle dies, I die cut a piece of Early Espresso with the scallop circle. I then die cut a stitched circle from Whisper White card stock and then stamped my sentiment from Strong & Beautiful stamp set using Early Espresso ink.
Add three dimensionals to the back side of your sentiment and add to your notebook.
I found a coordinating pen and then packaged up in a clear cello bag sized 6×9.
