Here’s another birthday WOW card using Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. Isn’t this paper beautiful! Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, Basic Black. A soft combination that’s no overpowering. The pearls make a nice feminine touch and the Organdy ribbon sets the focal image apart from the rest.
Here are the dimensions of the card stock that you will need:
Card Base: Whisper White, cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1: Mossy Meadow cut 4 x 5 1/4, embossed with the Subtle embossing folder
Layer 2: Petal Pink cut cut 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
Layer 3: Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper cut 3 x 4
Strip for inside card base: Mossy Meadow cut 3/4 x 5 1/2 and Magnolia Lane cut 1/2 x 5 1/2
Strip for Whisper White envelope: Mossy Meadow cut 3/4 x 4 3/8 and Magnolia Lane cut 1/2 x 4 3/8
Whisper White scrap for stamping
Basic Black for the label punch
To assemble the card, add the Mossy Meadow to the card base with Tombo Liquid Glue.
Adhere the Petal Pink and Magnolia Lane together, offsetting
Wrap the Organdy Ribbon around the front of the panel and then adhere this to the card front
Stamp the Happy Birthday with Stazon Jet Black ink. Color with Stampin Write Markers Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz. Use Wink of Stella over the Happy Birthday banner. Punch out with the Pretty Label punch.
Punch a label out from Basic Black, then cut in half lengthwise.
Adhere to the stamped label and then add dimensional to the backside. Adhere straight across on the card front.
Make sure you sign or stamp the backside of your homemade card.
