Marbled Background Stamp with Colorful Seasons from Stampin’ Up!

I am so excited to share the cards I created with the Marbled Background stamp!  Who would have known how the tone on tone technique can produce a WOW factor.

Throw in some heat embossing with Copper, water color, a little fussy cutting, some Wink of Stella, and you can create this card!

Here are the supplies and instructions to create the Daffodil Delight card here:

Daffodil Delight
Stamp Sets:   
Marbled 143755, Colorful Seasons 143726
Inks:    Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie,
Lemon Lime Twist, Island Indigo, VersaMark
Tools:   Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Tear
and Tape, Copper Embossing Powder, Piercing
mat, Aqua painter, paper snips, Wink of Stella

Card Stock:  
Daffodil Delight cut 8 ½ x 5 ½, scored at
4 1/4
Daffodil
Delight cut 4 x 5 1/4
Very
Vanilla cut 4 x 5 1/4, for inside panel
Very
Vanilla scrap for sentiment
Early
Espresso cut 2 ¼ x 5 ¼
Water
Color Paper cut 2 x 5 1/4
Instructions:
Use
piercing mat for stamping for your photopolymer stamps.
Ink
up the Marbled stamp with Daffodil Delight (ink pad to stamp).
Take
the Daffodil Delight panel and place on top of the stamp
Use
scrap paper to lay on top of panel and use hand pressure to smooth over the
entire piece.
Use
the embossing buddy to remove any static from the water color paper (rough side
of paper
 
Ink
up the maple leaf with versamark and stamp top and bottom leaf.  
Press stamp firmly and hold for a bit so the
versamark soaks into the paper.
Add
copper embossing powder to the two leaves and heat set.
Do
the same process for the middle leaf.
Use
the aqua painter and water color the entire panel.  Clean brush in between colors.  Set aside to dry or dry with heat tool.
Use
embossing buddy on Very Vanilla scrap and then stamp sentiment using versamark.
Add
copper embossing powder and heat set.
Fussy
cut your sentiment out using paper snips.
Stamp
small leaf in all colors onto the inside panel of Very Vanilla and the
envelope. CLEAN STAMP IN BETWEEN COLORS.
Ensure
watercolor paper is dry and add tear and tape to the backside.  Remove backing and add to Early Espresso
panel.
Add
this panel to the marbled panel
Add
card front to card base.
Add
inside panel
Use
tear and tape (small piece) to the back side of sentiment panel and add to your
card.
Add
Wink of Stella to the maple leaves!

Inside Panel

Berry Burst, Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist
Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie

Elegant Eggplant, So Safron, Always Artichoke

Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral
