Valentine’s Day Card Featuring Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets

I Love Our Life Together
Flirty Flamingo; how I need to use this color more!  Especially when you can combine it with free product
from Saleabration!  I used the Grapefruit
Grove
foil sheets which I earned for free with a $50 product order.  Just a hint of foil paper under the All My
Love Designer Series Paper teamed up with the die cut heart from Sunshine Wishes
is striking.
 8 single-sided sheets: 4 sheets Grapefruit Grove, 4 sheets Lovely Lipstick
* 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)
* Acid free
* Lignin free
Here are the dimensions to re-create this card:

Flirty Flamingo card base cut 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
All My Love Designer Series paper cut 4 1/4 x 3
All My Love Designer Series paper cut 1/2 x 4 1/4 for inside panel
Grapefruit Grove Foil sheet (2 pieces) cut 1/2 x 4 1/2
Grapefruit Grove Foil sheet for the heart from Sunshine Wishes
Whisper White panel for inside cut 4 x 5 1/4
Whisper White scrap for the die cut banner from Stitched Labels
Flirty Flamingo scrap for the stitched square

The stitched square in Flirty Flamingo sets the heart aside
and ties it all together as well.

I used the Stitched Labels framelits banner and trimmed it
down to a size that did not make the banner appear to be too heavy.  I also set the banner to the right side so it did
not cover up the shine of the foil sheets.

The Pearl Jewels are added to the top and bottom of the card
at opposite ends and one small pearl is added to the banner on the left
side.  Another goal of mine for 2019 is
use what I have.  So if you have
embellishments, rhinestones, jewels that you haven’t used and are hoarding, add
them to a project.  I’m hoping my bin is
empty at the end of the year.  I’ve got a
long ways to go but am determined to reach that goal of using up my stash.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Let me know by leaving a comment in the box
below.

Meet Karen

I am a native Vermonter and enjoy each of the four seasons our state has to offer. Inspired by Gram was created after my grandmother. She taught me many crafting skills over the years and I enjoy sharing them with you. There is nothing like putting a smile on a face, hearing "wow" from a new stamper, and making new friends; near and far.
