One of my goals for 2019 is to share some of my Craft Fair Projects. Today I’m sharing my first post for 2019. We will make mini post-it note holders. I have found these really successful year after year. For 2019, I have completed over 300 of these holders! Yes that’s quite a bit. I like to use up my pretty paper along with scraps of card stock that is too small for card projects. This is a great product to use up your stash. It’s also a great teacher, co-worker, bus driver, or a gift to whoever is on your list. I like to leave these on my co-workers desks as a nice little surprise.
You can get 14 holders out of one 12 x 12 sheet of pretty paper.
Cut your 12×12 paper 5 x 12; you will get two of these. Then cut the remain strip 2 x 5 twice. There is a small scrap that is left which I save to use to create magnets.
Your score lines are 1 1/8, 1 1/2, 3, 3 1/2 along the 5″ side. My only caution is if you have a directional pattern you just need to remember to cut your paper the correct way.
Once you have everything cut and scored, just fold along each score line with your fingers. It’s not necessary to use a bone folder; your fingers will do all the work for you.
Add tear tape on the backside of the sticky note and then adhere to the pretty paper along the score line (check out my video below so you can see in detail).
Once you have the sticky note in place, add the Velcro circle to the smaller section and then fold down and secure.
Stamp an image on Whisper White card stock and punch out with the 1″ circle punch.
Punch out a coordinating piece of card stock with the 1 1/4″ circle punch and then adhere these two together.
I use my ATG tape runner to add adhesive to the backside of the circle. It’s quick and easy for me to do this. If you do not have ATG, then tear tape will also work but it’s a bit slower.
Add the circle to the top section and press down.
