Craft Fair Project using Mini Post-it Notes

My goal this year is to attend more craft shows, especially now since we moved to the Upper Valley in Vermont.  Making new connections and meeting new people is always a fun time.

Here is a craft show project that I learned from Amanda Rogers.  I recently completed 144 mini post-it notes decorated with Stampin’ Up! Designer Series paper and using a Velcro circles as a closure.

Here are the supplies you will need for the project:

Stamp Sets:  You need to find a sentiment that will fit a one inch circle so I used Hey, Chick from the 2017 Sale-A-Bration along with two retired stamp sets called A Happy Thing, and A Round Array (one of the first stamp sets I purchased after becoming a demonstrator.).

Designer Series Paper, cut 2 1/8 x 5, scored at 1 1/8, 1 1/2, 3, 3 1/2
Punches:  1 1/4 circle punch and 1″ circle punch
Tear Tape
Velcro Circles (I purchased at Walmart).
Adhesive
Matching ink colors
Scrap card stock to match your Designer Series paper
Whisper White scrap

After cutting and scoring your strip of paper, take a small amount of tear tape and adhere to the back side of the mini post-it note. Remove the backside of the tear tape, and stick to the Designer Series paper.  I line mine up so that the front flap is smaller on the top side.

Add the velcro circles.
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White and punch out using the 1″ circle punch.
Punch out coordinating card stock using the 1 1/4″ circle punch.
Adhere these together.

Add adhesive along the top half of the circle and adhere to the top flap of the Designer Series paper.

These are easy to make, but suggest that you mass produce them and using a 12×12 piece of Designer Series paper is easier than a paper pack.  If you have a bunch of scraps that will work with this size, it’s another way to use your scrap DSP!
